God’s Hope

Hi, my students’ call me Dr. Denise

I have been a teacher of the Blind for almost 40 years, teaching all blind skills but especially the technology that allows students to access their world and education to keep pace with their peers.

My life has been filled with perils, as have the lives of many of my students. Yet God has turned those perils into purpose.

If you’re reading this, perhaps you’ve faced your own trials: moments of pain, confusion, or deep struggle. This blog exists to walk with you through those valleys.

Here, I share stories, prayers, and reflections born from suffering, shaped by grace, and anchored in hope. My prayer is that as you read, you’ll begin to see how your own perils may be the very soil where God is planting purpose: not just for survival, but for strength, healing, and forward movement in Him.

Through hardship, I’ve seen God’s hand.
Pain birthed testimony.
Struggle forged strength.

There are shared stories, prayers, and reflections to help others discover hope is found not in circumstances, but in Him.
